The Supersonic Racing team was formed in 2009 where they made their debut in the Italian Superstock Championship, before making the ambitious move into the World Superbike Championship for the past two seasons.
In 2010 the Italian team made its WSB debut with rider Luca Scassa on a Ducati 1198 with top ten finishes before Maxime Berger joined the team in 2011, with similar results.
The team are now focused on starting a new chapter in the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship.
Despite only being their debut season in the championship the team have shown that they will be challenging for a position in the Showdown. Bridewell gave BMW their first top five finish in the championship and has shown that it won't be long before he is challenging for a podium.
We are proud to announce our decision to join BSB. Last year I decided to leave the World Superbike Championship after two years with a lot of satisfaction and good feeling, but I felt it was necessary to change something in my life. This decision was really hard and now I can only say that I’m happy to take part in the 2012 British Superbike Championship season with my team. We are absolutely focused on our goals for 2012 with the support of BMW Motorrad Italia, who will help us directly throughout our journey in this new adventure. Our approach for this year is to reach the top as soon as possible with all the passion and the determination that we have always shown in the past.
