The Padgetts Race team is highly regarded as a front-line attacker on the British scene, having competed in both the Supersport and Superstock classes and also on the roads including the Isle of Man TT.
The family run-team is led by Clive Padgett, the son of the joint founder of the Padgetts Motorcycle business Peter. Padgetts have worked with numerous top riders and have also competed in Grand Prix racing, including John Reynolds in the 500cc World Championship and Jay Vincent in European Championship action and 250cc Grand Prix. The Padgetts team can claim the rare honour of having taken TT wins in every decade since the 1960s.
Among those who have raced and won under the Padgetts banner include Mike Hailwood, Phil Read, Carl Fogarty Leon Camier, Ian Hutchinson and John McGuinness.
The team celebrated in sensational style their first win in the class at Thruxton as Lowry stole the show. Scassa contined to learn the UK circuits and the team built up momentum during the season. Lowry just missed out on the Showdown but the team have shown real promise in their first season back in MCE BSB.
