MSS Bathams Kawasaki Pedigree

MSS Kawasaki began racing in the Supersport class before they progressed into the Superbike class in 2007.

In 2009 the team looked set to secure a maiden race win with Simon Andrews at Mallory Park before being cruelly denied in the controversial Hairpin crash. However he celebrated a maiden podium finish for the team at Cadwell Park.

Last year onboard the new Ninja ZX-10R the team celebrated podium success with Stuart Easton and Gary Mason, whilst Alex Lowes also took a maiden pole position for the team at Thruxton.

Rutter celebrated a podium finish at Brands Hatch but the team are yet to repeat the performance, such is the level of competition in the championship this season. Hickman continues to adjust to the Kawasaki but the pair both have the potential to be podium finishers.

It has been well documented that last season has had its highs and lows but it was fantastic to achieve BSB podium finishes from both riders. To achieve 18 podiums across the classes is a strong record for any team and proves that we are more than capable of running at the front. We now need to carry that momentum through to next season and we want to be back stronger. I feel we have proved ourselves this year and now I am excited about stepping up to rival the other teams. It was a fantastic season last year and we are proud to be part of the championship; I hope that this year will be even better!
