The Metzeler National Superstock 600 Championship is designed to identify new riding talent and provide a progression route to higher classes of racing. This class is strictly for riders aged 16-25, the past three winners have progressed on to British Supersport rides and with Keith Farmer, the current champion snapped up by Paul Bird Motorsport for 2012 the class looks a great springboard to the British and World Championships.

Riders that finish the year in the top three of the championship are not eligible for the following season, this sees Glenn Irwin moving to European Superstock 600 whilst Connor Behan looks set to progress onto Superstock 1000. Deane Brown who finished just one point behind Connor also moves to British Supersport.

The 2011 entry list is again filling fast with many new names progressing from the Triumph Triple Challenge; Tommy Dale, Joe Collier, Matthew Jones and Jim Lovell along with champions of top flight club racing Jordan Simpkin MRO Stock Sport 600 champion and Luke Helm MRO Mini Twin champion and those that are returning for a second year including Matthew Paulo, Ben Burke, Leon Jeacock and Jake Newstead.
