A real mecca for bike fans, Cadwell Park hosts the biggest round of the British Superbike Championship, with thousands of spectators travelling to the circuit fondly nicknamed the 'Mini-Nurburgring' every August Bank Holiday weekend. Cadwell Park is probably most famous for 'the Mountain', where bikes frequently get airbourne, and it's the striking mix of twists, cambers and gradients that have led to the circuit's burgeoning popularity over the years.

John Hopkins was sidelined through a finger injury sustained in a MotoGP practice crash but the Swan Yamaha team dominated the weekend with Michael Laverty taking the opening win before Tommy Hill doubled up for the second time. In race one Hill was second from Shane 'Shakey' Byrne and then in race two, then in race two it was Laverty from Byrne completing the podium.

In the final race Josh Brookes was back on the podium from Laverty after the Australian had received a penalty following a collision with Michael Rutter in the earlier race. The Title Fighters were decided and it was on to the Showdown.
